Employment Hero
The Challenge
The challenge is to create a fresh new and exciting brand refresh approach with engaging social media campaign for Employment Hero's SmartMatch feature that appeals to both employers and jobseekers. The campaign needs to effectively convey how SmartMatch simplifies hiring for employers and helps jobseekers find jobs that match their skills and worth in design and copy.
The Goal
The primary goals of the campaign are:
- Employers: Encourage small to medium-sized businesses (particularly in hospitality, retail, and construction) to sign up for Employment Hero and use the SmartMatch feature to find and hire the right talent quickly.
- Jobseekers: Motivate people aged 18-35, especially those in shift-based roles, to create profiles, upload their CVs, and get matched with relevant employers.
The solution involves developing a scalable social media campaign that works across multiple platforms (TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.) and is designed for both the employer and jobseeker audiences. The campaign should include:
- A strategy outline that explores fresh creative directions while pushing the boundaries of Employment Hero's existing tone and style.
- A creative solution in the form of an example post (preferably video content) that grabs attention, breaks from the traditional use of the brand mascot, and introduces new elements like fonts, photography, or art direction. This content should be "thumb-stopping" and designed to cut through the noise on social media, appealing to both target audiences in a visually dynamic way.
